Your first visit will include a comprehensive evaluation to create a customized plan to help you meet your goals.
Other visits vary depending on the condition, but generally include a warm-up, custom tailored exercises to address your complaints, and then depending on the patients needs could be followed by hands on treatments. These can include massage, dry needling, cupping, passive stretches, hot packs, electrical stimulation, etc.

For your comfort and to help us provide the best care, we recommend wearing:
Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy movement.
Athletic wear such as T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, or yoga pants.
Supportive sneakers or athletic shoes for stability during exercises.
Clothing that allows access to the area being treated (for example, shorts for knee therapy or a tank top for shoulder therapy).
Please avoid tight jeans, dress clothes, or restrictive footwear like sandals or heels.
Wearing the right clothing helps us assess your movement and makes your therapy session more effective and comfortable!

Sometimes muscular soreness is normal when we start training/strengthening muscles, especially ones that have not been exercised in a while. In addition, for patient’s receiving post-surgical rehabilitation, stretching can be uncomfortable. We will push you in a way that is safe and you will not further injure yourself.
If you are feeling sore or in pain after your appointment, please tell your physical therapist so the exercises can be modified if they are too challenging. We will work with you and want you to feel better!
